"Liwa" is a refereed academic journal dedicated to the study of the history, archeology and heritage of the United Arab Emirates and the Arabian Gulf Region.  This journal is published on the internet as well as in print form by the National Center for Documentation and Research in the United Arab Emirates. We welcome contributions in both English and Arabic. All material should be sent as an e-mail attachment to the managing editor at liwa@ncdr.ae. Please refer to "instructions to authors" regarding formatting and the style in which manuscripts   may  be submitted.
